ISLAMABAD, June 27 (Bernama-Xinhua) -- Pakistani Minister for Planning, Development and Special Initiatives Ahsan Iqbal said that his country has been making efforts to promote the blue economy as it possessed enormous potential for sustainable financial stability and development of Pakistan, reported Xinhua. "The incumbent government has placed the blue economy in its futuristic agenda of national growth and has been taking steps to further boost it," the minister said during a ceremony at Pakistan Maritime Security Agency in Karachi on Monday.
