MANILA, Philippines — The National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) on Thursday stressed the need for 'proper grid planning' with the Department of Energy (DOE) to prevent project delays. This came after records from the Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) presented during a Senate committee on energy hearing showed that the NGCP has 72 delayed projects, six of which are of national importance. When asked what the corporation needs to finish its projects on time, NGCP Assistant Vice President and spokesperson Cynthia Alabanza emphasized 'proper grid planning.
