Posted Today, 07:23 PM I'm going to be getting a new computer and I'm dreading the thought of re-installing everything. Is there any way of simply porting the operating system and program installations from my old machine to the new one? I once did this by doing a bare metal restore from a Shadow Protect backup, but that was many years ago and I'm not sure that would still work.
