Hi - not sure if mine is a windows or driver or hardware issue, not been able to isolate the problem area. Have an acer aspire laptop running windows 7 (yes I know its old but up to now it has been more reliable than my other laptops running Windows 10).  Anyhow have recently had startup problems.  Probably 70% of the time the laptop starts but no display just a black screen - hard drive operating and laptop makes a single beep as if  a device is disconnected .  If i then power down and restart it always starts as normal including display.
