Hu Jun / SHINE This week, I had a freak out when The Expatriate Center asked me to speak at their International Women's Day event. But before my mental gremlins could kick in, I agreed. And thank goodness, because it was a gorgeous affair and a privilege to spend time with our community. The center's invitation said: 'We wondered if you'd like to talk about rediscovering yourself as a woman.' What struck me about this suggestion was the word 'rediscover.' It implied A) I had discovered something.
