MANILA, Philippines—Tokyo Olympian Nesthy Petecio and four other Filipinos are assured of silver medals in boxing after advancing to the finals on Wednesday in the 32nd Southeast Asian Games at Chroy Changvar Convention: Hall G. Petecio defeated Cambodia's own Vy Sreyrsros by unanimous decision in the semifinals of the women's 57kg division. She will come home with a silver medal at least when she faces Indonesia's Ratna Sari Devi in the gold medal bout. Rogen Ladon also assured himself of a silver medal finish by defeating Malaysia's Muhammad Abdul Ariffin via split decision, 4-1.
