(WORLD) - Australian Governor General David Hurley began a 4-day state visit to Vietnam Monday. This is the first state visit to Vietnam by a foreign leader this year and the first state guest of President Vo Van Thuong since he took office. The two countries celebrate the 50th anniversary of their diplomatic ties and the 5th anniversary of their strategic partnership this year.
